Join Ruby City’s Visitor Services team for a free drop-in creative workshop that invites visitors to slow down, look closely, and explore the art of seeing. Inspired by artist and educator Corita Kent’s teaching methods, participants will use handmade “finders” to frame the world in new ways, practice mindful photography in the landscape around the Ruby City campus and create simple frames and journals to document their observations.

Through this playful, hands-on experience, guests will experiment with composition, color, and perspective to discover how everyday sights can transform into moments of creative reflection.

This program encourages all ages and skill levels to engage their individual creativity, deepen connections with artworks on view, and spark dialogue through mindful making. All materials will be provided. Participation is free and registration is not required.
