Located just south of downtown San Antonio, Ruby City is a contemporary art center dedicated to providing a space for the city’s thriving creative community to experience works by both local and internationally acclaimed artists. Guests will be able to experience a selection of exciting contemporary works from the Linda Pace Foundation Collection— from Glenn Ligon’s Stranger in the Village #11 and Linda Pace’s Mirror Mirror to large-scale installations by artists such as Isaac Julien, Cornelia Parker and Do Ho Suh.

The Ruby City building will be open to the public in October 2019. Until then you can visit our auxiliary spaces, Studio and Chris Park.
Ruby City’s public entrance on Camp Street is accessible by sidewalk ramp. The two main floors of the building are accessible by elevator. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are located on floor 2.

Chris Park’s public entrance on Camp Street is accessible by sidewalk ramp. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are located at the back-left corner of the park near the park attendant area. Photography and video are permitted in the galleries for personal, non-commercial use only. No flash, tripods or camera extension poles are allowed. Photographs and video cannot be published, sold, reproduced, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.
Visitors to Ruby City may enter the galleries with a handbag or small backpack. Larger items will not be permitted. All bags are subject to security inspection. We reserve the right to refuse items, and are not responsible for items held at the front desk.
Larger items are permitted in Chris Park. We reserve the right to refuse items inside of the park and are not responsible for anything left on the property.
