Ruby City invites the community to celebrate the installation of Chuck Ramirez’s Christmas Trees at Studio. Commissioned by Linda Pace in 2005 with her directive, “More is More!”, the trees blur the line between decoration and fine art, creating a luminous, joyful environment with everyday objects.
Ruby City will host a screening of Tía Chuck: A Portrait of Chuck Ramirez, the feature-length film chronicling Ramirez’s life, work, and enduring impact on San Antonio’s art community. The film offers an intimate look at Ramirez’s creative practice, his wit and generosity, and the legacy he left behind.
Guests are invited to enjoy the film, light refreshments, and take holiday portraits alongside the trees, continuing Ramirez’s spirit of connection, celebration, and shared experience.
